Its me, Bruno! Hi 👋
I hope you are having a great day today!
I have a beautiful project to share with you.
The Waves of Inspiration has been one of my most used stamp sets in some time. It has been around for about a year now and it is simply gorgeous! Here is the project;
A month or so ago, Kylie did a project where she used the Josephs Coat technique (Click Here to see the project that inspired the project).
The first step for this project, I added some colour using blending brushes. I used a mixture of Night of Navy, Starry Sky, Balmy Blue and Orchid Oasis.
Next, I applied the Embossing Buddy across the entire image very thoroughly. I then stamped the Wave image with Versamark and using a heat tool, I heat set with Clear Embossing Powder.
Next, using the Blending Brushes, I applied more colour over the top of the stamped/embossed image.
Starting at the top of the image and down to the bottom, I used the following colours (in this order), making sure to blend the colours into each other carefully;
- Balmy Blue
- Tahitian Tide
- Orchid Oasis
- Starry Sky
- Night of Navy
I then used a tissue/rag to wipe any excess ink from on top of the clear embossing. I love the effect of the colour below the embossing coming through the clear embossing. Such a neat effect!
I then mounted this onto a piece of Basic White, then onto ANOTHER piece of Basic White, then onto a Thick Basic White card base.
For the sentiment, I simply stamped onto a piece of Basic White using Night of Navy.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I would love to hear what you thought of this project!
