Relax - You Deserve It | Projects from Bruno using the Beach Happy Set

Bruno here! Thanks so much for stopping by today.

I wanted to share with you some simple cards I made using some brand new products. Here are the products I used today (feel free to shop 24/7 from my online store);

Note: Australian Residents Only

Here are the projects;

The Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper is a great BOLD set of sheets! However, on the rear side of each of the pages is a nice pattern. It's these that I used today.

I started with a Night of Navy and a Calypso Coral card base. Both of them were Portrait and side-open. I stuck down the DSP sheets with a 5mm border all around.

For the stamped image, I started with a 6.5cm x 10cm piece of Whisper White. Using the stamparatus, I stamped the outline image using Black (this is from the Beach Happy stamp set). Since this is a two-step stamp set, I coloured the stamp using markers. Initially, I thought it was a mis-stamp but upon closer reflection, I LOVED the way that it turned out. I used the Stamparatus and coloured each colour separately - it is such an awesome tool to align two-step stamps!!!

Do you like the ribbon? I started with the Whipser White Flax ribbon and coloured these with Stampin' Blends. It was SOOOOO easy. I stuck this down to the card base and then stuck the stamped image down using dimensionals.

And, THATS is! So easy! Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day!

I want to show you how you can make 20 note cards in less than one hour and have so much fun while you are doing it! Prepared to get INKY!

I love that you can ink up the note cards and get all these fabulous colours!

The Measurements for the paper on these cards are -

Metric - 8.1cm x 12cm
Imperial - 3.25" x 4.75"

You will get six card fronts from one piece of 12" x 12" with some left over to decorate inside or use on another card in strips.

I used the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper - However you could use any Stampin' Up!® paper of course! The sentiment is from the Climbing Roses Stamp Set. I cut these out using my 1-3/4" punch and my 2" punch and then raised them with dimensionals. So simple!

Let me know what you think of the #loveitchopit #simplestamping Note Cards. I really hope that you give it a try with any of our wonderful Stampin' Up!® paper.

Incredible Like You and Seize the Day | Another Team Swap by Bruno

Hi There! Bruno here again! I have another project to share with you today. I actually made two swap cards for our team swap. Between us, this was my favourite of the two swaps. Here it is;

I LOVE how this card turned out. Do you want to know how I made it? If you don't already have one, you MUST have a Stamparatus in your collection.

Note: Australian Residents Only

I am a careful stamper and there simply is no way that I would have been able to use this technique without the Stamparatus. As you can see above, there is a brand new Stamapratus bag which is AWESOME! It is available as a bundle as well!

So, here are the directions;
  1. Start with Grapefruit Grove card base. This is a portrait card, bottom open.
  2. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock with a 0.75cm border on left and right sides.
  3. Put the piece of card stock into Stamparatus, using the top hinge.
  4. Using the stripes stamp, stamp the full image in Pineapple Punch.
  5. Take the Grapefruit Grove ink pad and apply to the bottom two-thirds of the stamp and stamp onto card stock. This is one of the amazing features of the stamparatus - the stamped image exactly aligns.
  6. Take the Calypso Coral ink pad and apply to the bottom third of the stamp and stamp onto card stock.
  7. Use the 'Hinge-Step' technique, move the plate across and repeat this process.
  8. Use the Sentiment and stamp in black ink.
  9. Take the stamp from the Seize the Day set and stamp image using black ink.
  10. Cut a piece of Burlap Ribbon and wrap around card. Use a stapler and fixe this down to the card.
  11. Using dimensionals, fix stamped card to card base.

I love the image of the man! It uses a stamp set which is a DisINKtive stamp. I love how it turned out!!! Here is a closer view of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by our blog today. If you need any of the products used in todays project, here are some shopping links for you.

Greek Isles Achievers Blog Hop January 2019

Welcome to our Greek Isles Achievers Blog hop for January! We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that have earned the incredible Stampin' Up!® incentive trip that we will be going on this year. We are hopping together to share with you some awesome inspiration using BRAND NEW Stampin' Up!® products.

Today I decided to make my own patterned vellum! Yup - I am in love with the Floral Romance Speciality Designer Series Paper and wanted to make my own patterned vellum.

In my card today I used Lovely Lipstick and Old Olive Blends.

I used the incredible Vellum cardstock by Stampin' Up!®. If you haven't purchased this Vellum before - YOU MUST! It is incredible to use and create with. I embossed the vellum with Whisper White and then used my blends to colour in the vellum! How amazing is that? However there are a few tricks that you need to know about so make sure you watch my video.

Would you like the measurement so you can make this card? Sure thing! You can pin these measurements and it will magically include the card so you know what the measurements are for. Pretty cool!

Here is my video showing you exactly how I made this card today. I decided to mix things up and used Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green. LOVE! Because we don't have Gorgeous Grape Blends (YET!) I used the Highland Heather Blends for my card.

I love the sentiment from the Wonderful Romance Stamp set - but couldn't find the right framelit to cut it out - my amazing Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies. I really like that the framelits for layering like I have done in my card.

I would love to hear what you think of my card today! Do you think you will give this technique a try? It's so much fun!

Thank you so much for coming by and remember to not miss one blog post by visiting all the blog links in the list below. I know that you are going to get so much inspiration and creative ideas from this hop today. Feel free to pin my photos to your pinterest page.
