TGCDT: September 2019 - Feels Like Frost

Hi There and thanks so much for stopping by today. Its Bruno here im participating in the monthly design team blog hop for TGCDT - The Gentleman Crafters Design Team (all of the members are from around the world and are ..... MALE!)

I have a project to share with you using a VERY popular suite from the Holiday Catlogue - Feels Like Frost. Here is the project;

I started with a Basic Grey card base and added a Pool Party layer, a Whisper White layer and a sheet from the the Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP. Using some silver foil, I cut out the beautiful layer using a die from the Frosted Frames Die Collection. Using the die from the same collection, I cut out a Whisper White layer to act as the base for the sentiment.

The sentiment was two pieces cut out (Pool Party and Basic Grey) from the Thank You die. I adhered this to the card to give the 'drop-shadow' appearance.

I love how this card turned out - what do you think?

Good Morning Magnolia in Black and White

Yay! We had a blast during our Facebook Live video today. So many things to share with you all. Plus we even got to do some crafting which I always enjoy. Especially a nice quick one that looks like you have spent hours... hahahaha.

In case you missed my Live video today you can see the card that we made together here -

And here is the live video recording that I have put on Youtube. Feel free to comment along as if you are watching live. I love to hear from you all.

I love how quickly this card came together because of the card templates that I had - I literally cut the cardstock just minutes before I went live! You can check out the information about my card templates HERE.

Feel free to pin this project to pinterest. And make sure you don't miss Bruno's post later tonight - you can subscribe to get our blog updates by email HERE.

NEW Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper

As you can see, I am LOVING this new paper - I have made many cards already in the last few weeks and they all look so different to one another. This paper is so versatile.

The card I made today is with the gorgeous stars - perfect for a sentiment that let's someone know they are amazing! I am absolutely loving the night of Navy with the Copper Foil. It's DELICIOUS!

I used some more of the copper foil I had to really make this sentiment POP off the page! The sentiment is from the  Everything is Amazing Stamp set that is new in the Annual Catalogue. It is PERFECT using this with the Stamparatus for perfect alignment and accuracy.

This is totally one of those cards that I didn't mean for it to be masculine - but it would actually be a totally awesome masculine card. hahahaha. If you wanted to soften it a little you could add some of those cool copper star embellishments and it would change the look completely.

Thank you so much for coming by today! I hope you enjoyed the card that I made and I will be back on our Facebook Page LIVE tomorrow showing your the amazing Random Acts of Kindness cards and gifts that we have received as well as some crafting. Can't wait to see you!

Natures Beauty | Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop September 2019

Thank you for joining us for our blog hop for September 2019.  We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that want to learn more to progress in our business. Blogging helps us to learn and connect with people, inspiring creativity. Please let us know if you enjoy our work! We love hearing from our readers. This will be our LAST hop of the year as our NEW Demonstrator Program starts 1st October.

For todays project, I used the gorgeous new Natures Beauty Stamp Set. This stamp set is not the usual set that I would purchase. I normally don't go for the artistic type stamps. HOWEVER, this stamp is supporting Mental Health. $4.25 from every set is contributed to an organisation that is supporting those with Mental Health issues. We can be a difference maker and by purchasing this stamp set make a difference to someone else.

Also think about who you can send a card to. This goes a LONG way in making sure that you are thinking of others and supporting people around the globe that you may or may not know. I made a list of over 20 friends that I want to send cards to this month to thank them for being such a good friend, let them know I am thinking of them and that we love them. It is so important that we keep these connections of friendships both new and old alive and connected. Card making is so powerful and is a wonderful tool to do just that. What a special gift we have to share with others.

I also used the Rooted in Nature set for the Sentiment and background image. I felt it was a perfect addition for this card. I used the Early Espresso Ink and the Crumb Cake blends to colour in the beautiful images.

Thank you so much for coming by today. Remember that you have a full blog hop with AMAZING ideas that you can enjoy. You are currently at my blog - Kylie Bertucci. So have a look at the list below to see who is next after me in the list and don't miss one blog!
