Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop October 2019

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Team Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

I have noticed how up-cycling and making your own home decor is getting very popular. I finished a jar of kalamata olives tonight and thought - PERFECT opportunity to make something fun out of that beautiful glass jar. Plus I had to do #loveitchopit of course... :)

I used the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper on my jar - with a belly band using the left over pieces of the chop. I have a video below so you can see exactly how easy it was to put together.

I love that the lid even has the flower on it - you could use some Crystal effects to seal the lid if you wanted to.

The hardest thing was getting the labels off - however I had some great suggestions passed on to me - you can use eucalyptus oil to get off the label or this one from April Taylor - Mix cooking oil with baking soda to make a paste. If possible remove label so just the glue is left. Spread mix all over the glue and let set at least 1 hour. Rinse & wash jar.

Super handy tips!

The other one that I made is a cute little vase for my fake flowers to go in.

I even found a place for it in my craft room - this is a piece I got from K-Mart and is really nice for making the room modern and fresh.

Here is a video that I made showing how easy it is to dress up these glass jars.

Thank you so much for coming by today! We have an amazing line up of Stampin' Up!® demonstrators from around the world, and we know you are going to love all the amazing projects that you are going to see today. Don't miss one blog link. Card for my Dad | Kylie's Facebook Live Recording

In case you missed my live last week I made some cards for my Dad and sisters. Sadly my father has gone through a really tough time last week. He had a clot and aneurysm in his left leg. The only option that the doctors decided to save his life was to remove his leg.

We are in shock that this has happened to him.. but also thankful that he is alive and is doing well after such a major surgery. I made some cards for my Dad and two sisters that have been caring for him.

Thank you all so much for your love, comments, cards and kindness during this time with Dad. I am heading to Perth in a few days to spend some time together and give some support.

Here is the card that I made for my sister Sara. I used Purple Posy, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather and Seaside Spray. The stamp set is the Botanical Bliss Stamp Set.

I added the adhesive sequins.

I made Dad's one with the Night of Navy, Smoky Slate and Basic Grey. I used the Clear Epoxy Droplets which I ADORE. The sentiment is from the Genuine Gems which is a great stamp set. The Smoky Slate 1/2" Textured Weaved Ribbon.

Thank again for your support and kindness! We love you all very much. The Stampin' Up!® family is very special. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
