Today’s project is one I really enjoyed putting together. It has a soft, warm feel thanks to the mix of very vanilla, crumb cake and Calypso Coral, and it suits a Get Well Soon card so well.

I started with a very vanilla card base and added a piece of Brushed with Beauty DSP. The soft print adds interest without overwhelming anything. On top of that, I added a Calypso Coral layer, followed by another very vanilla panel. This panel is where the magic happened. I stamped a vine of leaves repeatedly in Crumb Cake and I’m honestly so pleased with how it turned out. It gives the whole card this gentle, organic look that feels cosy and comforting.


Across the centre, I added a strip of Calypso Coral with a white embossed sentiment. The Get Well Soon greeting really pops against the colour without being too bold. For the main feature, I stamped the image in Calypso Coral, cut it with the coordinating die and layered it over a Crumb Cake die cut to give it a little depth and shadow.

Everything came together in such a pretty, peaceful way. If you enjoy soft neutrals with a touch of warmth, this colour combo is definitely worth trying. Let me know what you think of this one.
