Thank You | Earthen Elegance Suite | Stampin' Up! Trip Achievers Blog Hop June 2023

Welcome to our monthly Stampin' Up! Trip Achievers Blog Hop.

As a group, we have worked our Stampin' Up! businesses enough to earn the Annual Incentive Trip. This is no small feat as less that 1% of demonstrators worldwide achieve this. This group come from different countries around the world.

I have a neat project to share with you today. Here it is;

This is a STUNNING suite. Both of us love the DSP, the colours and the texture of all of the items (that ribbon ..... WOW!)

Bruno was devastated when Soft Suede was retired from the Stampin' Up! colour family. But, in return from these colours retiring, two of the new InColours are worthy replacements (Copper Clay and Pebbled Path) and both of these are featured on the Earthen Elegance DSP (Pecan Pie is also a VERY worthy replacement).

This card uses a Copper Clay card base with a layer of Basic White. Additionally, we used a layer of DSP. This DSP is simply stunning! As with most of the Stampin' Up! DSP collections, one side of the DSP is a design with the other side more of a pattern. The designs in this set seem to show photos of earthy elements (such as glazed/patterned ceramic tiles or a piece of clay with an etched design). The design I used shows a sheet of pressed copper. This is STUNNING! Here is a closer look at the sheet;

For the vases, I created them as shown below;
  • L - The vase is cut out using a die and a piece of DSP. For the front, I stamped in Moody Mauve onto Basic White and cut out using die.
  • Middle - The vase us cut out using a piece of DSP which is wrapped using the Natural Wavy Trim.
  • R - The vase is stamped using Pretty Peacock onto a piece of Pretty Peacock and cut out using a coordinating die. The palm frond uses a die cut out of a piece of Crumb Cake.

For the sentiment, I stamped using Copper Clay onto a piece of Basic White, cut out and adhered to card.

Here is a closer look at this card;
