This week we’re shining the spotlight on standalone stamp sets! These sets don’t rely on coordinating dies or punches — just your creativity, ink, and imagination. And to kick things off, we’re starting with one of my favourites, the Feathered Fun Stamp Set 🐦💛 

This set is perfect for creating lovebird crafts for the special people in your life. The stamps are Reversibles, so you get twice the creative options — one side has all the details, while the other gives you the general shape for layering colour or texture. Whether you colour them in, emboss, or keep it simple, you’ll love how versatile this set is. 

For today’s project, I started with a Summer Splash card base and added a layer of Basic White. Over that, I blended some bright summer colours for a warm, happy background. Then I stamped the birds with Versamark, clear embossed them, and added a touch of Secret Sea (my favourite stand-in for black ink). Once I wiped off the excess ink, those gorgeous colours beneath really popped!

To finish, I wanted the two lovebirds to take centre stage — so I repeated the same embossing process, fussy cut them, and adhered them with dimensionals for a little lift and definition. 

It’s a simple design, but the texture, colour, and layering make it feel so alive and full of movement. What do you think?
