I have a FUN project to share with you today - the Spiral Dye stamp set was one that immediately stood out in the catalogue. I was thrilled that it was included on the pre-order. And, had so much fun making this project. Wanna see it? Here it is;
I stamped on a piece of Basic White. I used the stamparatus and stamped three colours on each spiral. I actually coloured the stamp using Stampin' Write markers. The stamparatus is so cool - if anything is mis-stamped or anything needs more colour, it is perfectly aligned!
After the first full stamp of the spiral, I rotated the card stock 180 degrees and stamped using a different set of three colours, again using Stampin' Write markers.
After the second full stamp of the spiral, I rotated the card stock 90 degrees and stamped using a different set of three colours, again using Stampin' Write markers.
Finally, I used some Tombow and applied some gold leafing. I just smooshed the glue around and then wiped off the excess leafing - I love the effect this gives!!
I mounted onto a piece of Polished Pink card stock (new InColour) and then onto a piece of Basic White and then onto a Poppy Parade card base.
For the sentiment, I stamped onto a piece of Basic White using the Colour & Contour stamp set. I cut this out using the Tasteful Labels die collection. I added a faux-shadow using Polished Pink card stock and mounted onto the card using dimensionals.
