Today I decided to do one of my favourite card techniques. Sponging with our Stampin' Up!® daubers. I saw this photo on a friends Instagram. She took the photo in Germany where she lives. It straight away inspired me to think of how I could replicate this look.

What stood out for me is that beautiful gradient of the white to the purple then navy and black. So beautiful! Here is my take on the card - 

I used Purple Posy, Night of Navy and Memento black and sponged them. I then stamped it with versa mark and then sprinkled some embossing powder to create the stars. Another fun technique for creating your own sky or background. I then added the trees at the front from the Winter Woods and Life is Beautiful Stamp set.

The sentiment is embossed in white with the sentiment from the Life is Beautiful Set.
