Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Special Guest Tracy May

Thank you for joining us for this exciting blog hop with special guest Tracy May. My team - The Crazy Crafters and I have at least two of these hops a month with other Stampin' Up!® superstars and we case their project. We are thrilled to be casing Tracy May this hop.

You may be starting here or have come from the person previous to me in the hop - either way you can use the list at the end of the post to make your way around all of these fantastic blogs to see what we have all come up with casing Tracy. When we case our definition is - Copy and Selectively Edit. It is a great way to get inspiration from a card but still make it your own. Here is the card that stood out for me to case.

I love the layout of Tracy's card and that is what really stood out to me and the way there is some blank space in the frame of the flower for the sentiment.

Here is my take on Tracy's card -

I loved the flowers on the card and decided to use the new Ombre Ink in Bermuda bay for a less overwhelming look. I love how the flower came up in this ink. I used the same embossing folder for the background. The new Petal Burst. I love how it goes with this stamp set.

The sentiment is stunning and from the same stamp set. It really is such a versatile set. I love how Tracy layered the card - I missed things up a bit and added another layer on each and twisted the front  panel. I added the Rhinestones in the centre for a bit of bling.

Thanks so much for joining us today - Make sure you make your way around the whole hop as you are going to get so much inspiration from our hop today. Big thanks to Tracy for joining us too!

  9. Super Noice Kylie this is the only stamp I have not used in this Set. I love the Blue, I see you have used the Emboss where Tracy used the Deboss and your layers are so nice, the way you position your centre on the angle ( if that makes any sense lol) makes the card look softer.
