Crazy Crafters Blog Hop October | Fun Fold

Thank you for joining us for the Crazy Crafters October Blog hop! This month is going to be lots of fun as our theme is Fun Folds! Some are these are going to be really technical - but if we can do it, then you can too!

Currently you are on my blog - Kylie Bertucci. You may be starting the blog hop here or have come from the person previous to me in the list. There is a full line up below that will help you move along from blog to blog so that you can see all the fun fold projects. As I mentioned at the moment you are visiting Kylie Bertucci.

I have been looking at doing one of these fun folds for a long time. So I was thrilled when there was a reason to finally give it a go! I must say I have never seen a surprise pop up card made into an actual card, it might be out there somewhere - but I found a way without a tutorial - so I feel like right now I made it up. I am sure I will get proven otherwise. Here is the front of the card.

Do you like my Pull Here tag? I thought it suited this card as I have seen it with ribbon and it didn't suit the look I was going for. I strengthened it with a mini brad so that it doesn't go anywhere it shouldn't. I would be happy to fold it back behind the card when putting it in an envelope or making it easier when opening the card.

Before I cut the front panel out I stamped the footprints along the bottom. I know you are wondering what framelit I used for the spotlighting technique! Ready for it? The Flower Fair Framelits! Bruno noticed it the other day and mentioned it could come in handy - reminds me of the old starburst framelits that I miss so much!

When you pull the tag an amazing thing occurs the dinosaur pops up and exposes a hidden sentiment section!

Isn't it an awesome Fun Fold? I LOVE it! and now that I have worked out the measurements for metric - I will be able to do it more often. I just really wanted to use this fun set - the No Bones about it stamp set. I have recently tried spotlighting for the first time and I love it with this set. How cool are those exposed bones.  Wondering how I got the Rawr without the rest of the sentiment? Easy! I used washi Tape and covered the section that I didn't want to show. Come back tomorrow for my Global Design Project post to see some photos and a photo you can pin! Not sure if you will remember to come back? Easy subscribe to get my blog updates by email - that way you don't miss a thing.

Thanks for taking part in my teams monthly blog hop - we appreciate you coming and supporting us each month.
