Brushstrokes with a Colour Challenge

Today I am playing along with the Pals Paper Arts and this time it is a colour challenge. The colours chosen are not colours that I would ever think to put together - but I like this because that is what a challenge is all about, trying something new. Here are the colours chosen -

Here is the card that I made -

This is the first time that I have inked up my Brushstrokes stamp set and I am so happy that I used it for this challenge. I wasn't overly fussy with how I applied the ink as you can see there are some colours that overlap. I lots of embellishments the Greetings thinlits, the Petite Petals Punch, Rhinestones Basic Jewels, the Metallic Thread and brand new Iced Rhinestones from the Holiday catalogue that I ADORE!

Make sure you check out the other amazing projects that the Pals have designed.

    1. I agree Brian - they were challenging colours, but this stamp set helped to pull them together. The cutout was to break the boldness.

  3. The imperfections make this card wonderful! Love how you didn't try to be perfect. Thanks for sharing a card normally skilled stamper can accomplish. Kinda refreshing.
