Get Well Soon Card - Punch Art Owls as a Doctor and Nurse

We had a blast this week in class - took on a big challenge!! This card here -

I had seen the idea of the Doctor and Nurse from KB Papercrafts blog strange that my initials are KB but anyway that is beside the point. The tree idea was from Andrea Walford.

To purchase the four page TUTORIAL for this great card it is only $2, you can click HERE you will find the tutorial on page 3 of the store.

We had so much fun making this easel card - but I tell you what - it takes at least 1.5hours to do!! Well thats how long it took the girls to do last night. It is finicky and time consuming - but isn't it worth it!! The crystal effects just make the flowers pop doesn't it! Also make sure you have a White gel pen, as it makes all the difference.

Things to take note of - sponge everything, it just takes on life when you sponge particularly the tree and this was just cut by hand and then stamped using the woodgrain background stamp from page 87 in the catalogue. Its a good idea to stamp the sentiment before you add the tree - just can make it a little difficult to stamp properly with the tree in the the way. The back ground clouds were done using the scallop punch as a masking and then sponged using baja breeze.

If you have ANY questions please ask away.

Hope you enjoy and get inspired!

Thank you so much for your support - it keeps me creating!
