This week, I’m creating with the Extraordinary Flora Bundle and coordinating Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape — two gorgeous products that are bursting with colour, joy, and inspiration! Together, they make it so easy to create projects that look detailed and professional, without taking hours of work.
The Extraordinary Flora Bundle includes beautiful line-art style floral and botanical stamps, plus coordinating dies to cut them out in a flash. You can colour the images any way you like, or keep them simple for a more modern look. The Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape is something truly special: it’s a wide, bold roll (3-1/4"!) of watercolour-style floral designs in stunning shades like Berry Burst, Petunia Pop, Shaded Spruce, and more. Best of all, the dies in the bundle cut out the washi tape florals perfectly — so you get instant embellishments ready to craft with.
✨ Project 1: Floating Frame Card ✨
For my first project, I couldn’t resist trying the Floating Frame technique. It’s such a striking way to showcase these beautiful florals! Here’s how I made it:
- I started with a Basic White card base and trimmed 1 cm off the right edge of the front panel.
- Using the large floral stamp and my MISTI tool, I stamped the image both on the front and inside of the card base.
- On another piece of Basic White, I applied the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and used the coordinating die to cut out the florals. To keep the arrangement intact, I placed Press’N’Seal on both sides of the die-cut piece.
- Next, I used one of the arch dies from the Everyday Arches collection to cut an arch shape from the washi-covered panel.
- I then aligned the same arch die on the card base and cut an arch window into the front of the card.
- After peeling back the Press’N’Seal on the back of my floral piece, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered the florals so they appeared to float around the arch opening — some on the card front, and some within the window.
- To finish, I added a strip of Designer Series Paper inside the card along the right edge, and a strip of Secret Sea cardstock on the card front edge for contrast.
I absolutely LOVE how this card turned out! The Floating Frame effect really makes the florals pop, and the combination of stamping, washi tape, and die-cutting came together beautifully.
This is just the beginning — I’ll be sharing more Extraordinary Flora projects this week, so stay tuned for more ideas and inspiration. 🌿
