"These pretzels are making me thirsty."
Whenever I see a pretzel in person or see a picture of a pretzel, this is what immediately comes to my mind. To the uninitiated, this quote is from the 90's TV show Seinfeld and to be honest, aside from that quote, I cant recall what the storyline of that episode was about.
So, it goes without saying that when I saw the stamp set in the catalogue, I thought of this. And then, later, when I saw the designer series paper, I thought of this AGAIN! Imagine - two separate products in the catalogue. So, I just HAD to put them together. Here is the project I created.
So, where are these two pretzel products from? The stamp set is the Super Cool stamp set (both a noun and and an adjective). Here is the stamp set.
I applied Petal Pink ink and then liberally applied Calypso Coral with sponge daubers and stamped on a piece of Basic White. I then 'fussy cut' and set aside.
For the sentiment, I stamped using Versamark on a piece of Calypso Coral and heat set with White Embossing Powder.
The card base is Petal Pink. I added a layer of Calypso Coral and then a layer of DSP from the Delightfully Eclectic. This has proven to be such a versatile paper pack - so many different patterns. Added to that it's a MEGA pack (48 sheets at 12x12). Here it is;
To give a base for the stamped pretzel, I added 2 circles of Petal Pink and a layer of Calypso Coral in-between. I used 2 of the Circle Punches (2" and 2-3/8") and one of the circles from the Reach for the Stars Dies. For both of the layers of Petal Pink, I ran through the embossing folder using the Geometric Patterns embossing folder.
