With Love | Country Bouquet Bundle

If you're looking for an amazingly versatile set of pattern paper, the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper is it! These papers feature gingham in different sizes and shapes and in 4 different colours —that you can use on any project. Todays project used a colour I rarely use - PETAL PINK. Here is the project;

I started with a crumb cake card base and then added a layer of petal pink DSP. Atop that, I added a layer of Petal Pink and then atop that I added a layer of Kraft.

The Country Bouquet Bundle was a perfect addition to this DSP (they are all a part of the Country Floral Lane Suite). The heart stamp I coordinates with the punch and is grouped together on the same stamp as the mini heart (to allow for simple alignment when punching.)

On the layer of Kraft, I stamped the large heart using Versamark. Since it's attached with the small heart, I just applied the versamark to the large heart. I LOVE this look! It was a little sticky so I allowed it to fully dry and then rubbed with the embossing buddy.

I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Basic White. I also stamped the mini-heart onto a piece of Basic White using Petal pink and cut out using the punch. I adhered these two pieces to the card as shown.

Finally, I stamped the large heart using Versamark and then heat set using White Embossing Powder. I took a piece of the Burlap Ribbon (your new favourite ribbon) and folded in half and adhered under the large heart using dimensionals.

I really like how the project turned out. I almost discarded the card as I really didnt like it with Petal Pink, but the addition of the Kraft really toned the pink down. What do you think?
