Lighthouse Point | Sending You Love and Light | My OnStage Swap

Hi There and thanks so much for stopping by today!
We have an EPIC series of posts for you and todays project was ..... EPIC!

As you may know, we recently went to OnStage - this was an event put on by Stampin' Up! and central to the event was the release of the upcoming new catalogues. This is the first time in three years that Stampin' Up! have held in-person events and so it was VERY exciting!

One of the cool parts of OnStage is SWAPS!!! What are swaps? You create multiples of a particular project and SWAP that project with others.

So, of course, I made a single prototype of the project and loved it. So, then I proceeded to make 45 of them (NOTE for next time - make something a little less complicated).

Here is a photo I took before assembling.

And, here is the completed project;

Here are a few notes about the project;
  • The strips of colour were stuck to a piece of Basic White cardstock, trimmed to width and THEN run through the embossing folder. Then, it was adhered to another piece of Basic White and then the Basic Grey card base.
  • As I was making multiples of this project, to save time, I applied the blending colour to the piece of cardstock and THEN cut out the ovals.
  • I stamped the Daffodil Delight light before adhering the ovals to the card and before adhering the lighthouse to the oval.
  • I trimmed the bottom of the lighthouse off before adhering to the card.
