Its Bruno here and I have a project for you today.
I have a confession to make - I'm obsessed with the Waves of Inspiration stamp set. The wave is just beautiful and it stamps so well. Today, I wanted to use ..... that! And, that alone. Here is the project;
- Cut a landscape card base in Basic Black at 14.9 cm x 21 cm, scored at 10.5 cm (5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4")
- Cut the following layers; Layer 1 - Basic Black 13.9 cm x 9.5 cm (3 3/4" x 5"), Layer 2 - Basic White 13.4 cm x 9 cm (3 1/5" x 4 3/4"), Layer 3 - Basic Black 13.1 cm x 8.7 cm (3 3/8" x 4 5/8") - This is the stamping Layer.
- Rub Layer 3 with the embossing buddy. Ensure this is done carefully and thoroughly.
- Stamp Wave from stamp set with Versamark.
- Apply White Embossing Powder. Use brush to carefully remove any stray pieces of powder.
- Heat Emboss with heat tool.
- Adhere Layer 3 to Layer 2.
- Adhere Layer 2 to Layer 1.
- Adhere this to card base using dimensionals.
- Rub scrap piece of Basic Black with the embossing buddy. Stamp sentiment onto piece of Basic Black with Versamark. Please note - this project uses just one word of the sentiment.
- Apply White Embossing Powder. Use brush to carefully remove any stray pieces of powder.
- Heat Emboss with heat tool.
- Cut sentiment tightly using snips.
- Adhere to card using a thin strip of dimensionals.
This was such a simple card to make and the stamp set is BEAUTIFUL in white emboss. So effective. I would love to see you make it in different colours.
