Pretty Cards and Paper International Blog Hop May 2021 | Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper

Hi Everyone and thanks so much for stopping by today!

I'm taking part in a Blog Hop today which is featuring some of our FAVOURITE Stampin' Up! products - Designer Series Paper. And, this month, we are featuring a collection that CANNOT be purchased - it can only be earned FREE! It is called Pattern Party. Here is a look at the MEGA collection of paper;

Typically, there are 12 sheets of paper in a pack of DSP - in this collection there is a whopping 48 sheets! WOW! And, did I mention that it only available to purchase with Stampin' Rewards?

This collection contains polka dots, flowers, stripes, and more. Whatever type of pattern you need, you'll find it in the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper. The best thing about it is that on one side, there is a colourful pattern and the other has some striking patterns in black-and-white. It is the black and white side that I used on todays projects. In fact, these are the sheets I used;

Since the base is black and white, I used our Stampin' Blends and added colour to the stripes and check patterns. Here is the first project;

I coloured the paper with Pale Papaya, Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia and Bermuda Bay. For the striped card, I used light at the top and dark at the bottom. For the check card, I used only the light blends.

And, here is the second project;

I love how these turned out! I paired the paper with the Biggest Wish stamp set. I heat embossed the HELLO and I stamped the 'friend' using Polished Pink on Basic White. Do you like the mini-hearts? These are from the Shaker Shapes embellishments - I simply adhered them to the card base using rolled-up glue dots. Which one do you prefer? Can you think of some other pieces from this collection you can try this on? Please leave a comment below.

Thank you so much for coming by today - I hope that this inspires you to use your Designer Series Paper and #loveitchopit. Your whole pack of paper can be used well if you chop chop chop!
