Way To Go | Moving Along with Mountain Air Stamp Sets

A few months ago, we posted about how at the end of the year, when the retiring list is released, I find stamp sets that we have NEVER used! We made a goal of using EVERY stamp set we bought at lease once! Todays project uses TWO stamp sets I have never used before - Moving Along and Mountain Air (Bruno has used Mountain Air once before).

These are BOTH beautiful! The linework on Mountain Air is simply GORGEOUS and the illustrations for Moving Along are SUPER cute! So, why not use them together? Here is the project;

Here is the video of me making the girl version of this card

To make the card, I did the following;
  • I started with a Basic Black card base.
  • For the road and sentiment, I stamped using Memento Black onto Whisper White card stock.
  • For the sky, I stamped the clouds using Versamark and then using the heat tool, I heat set using White Embossing Powder. I also added some birds using Memento Black ink.
  • For the cars and helicopter, I stamped onto Whisper White using Memento Black ink. I coloured with Stampin' blends using Poppy Parade. Mango Melody, Smoky Slate and Pool Party. I then fussy-cut these images out using snips and mounted onto the card using dimensionals.
  • For the mountains, I stamped onto Cinnamon Cider and cut these out using the coordinating dies and mounted onto the card using dimensionals.

I really like how this turned out! This would be a perfect card for a young person - and I know exactly who I am going to send it to.
