Around the World on Wednesday – July 2020 | Forever Fern Bundle

If you have visited Kylies post before this one, you aren't looking at the same blog post - Kylie and I share a blog and we have two posts (one post each) on this blog hop!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! We are so happy to be involved in this blog hop today!

The theme is 'Case a Team Member' and the team member I am 'Case-ing' Teri West from Alaska in US.   This is the card that I have 'case-d';

If you would like more information on Teri's card, click here or click on the image above for more information. The main thing that I am 'Case-ing' is the floating frame technique.

It has been quite a while since I have made a floating frame card and I LOVE how they turn out. Here is the project I made for this Blog Hop.

I stamped all of the leaves/flowers/ferns onto pieces of Very Vanilla using Night of Navy ink. This colour inspiration us from the Boho Indigo Product Medley. I cut out all of the leaves/flowers/ferns using the coordinating dies. The Floating Frame technique uses 'Press-N-Seal' - it really is quite difficult to explain. I made a video of this technique - it uses different (retired) products, but highlights how it works. Click here or on the image below.

The card base is Night of Navy. The Very Vanilla piece is from the Boho Indigo Medley - it is BEAUTIFUL and is pre-embossed. I cut the frame our using the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I love these dies!!!

Within the frame, I added a piece of DSP from the Boho Indigo Medley. Seriously, this medley contains some of the nicest designs Stampin' Up! has ever produced. I white embossed the sentiment directly onto the DSP.

I decorated the inside of the card with some similar products too. I really like how this project turned out and I'm grateful for Teri West for inspiring me to try a Floating Frame card again.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! There are a whopping 27 participants on this blog hop - make sure you hop around to all of them!
