TGCDT: February 2020 - Tropical Oasis Suite

I have a project to share with you using some cool projects form the current mini catalogue. Oh and by the way, this is inspired by a shirt of mine. I wore it to visit family the other night and as we were dring home, I thought 'Im going to make a card using the colours (and design) from this shirt. Here is a photo I took of myself wearing the shirt (using a Snapchat filter)

Here is the project;

Here are the directions to making this card;

Take a Night of Navy card base.
Tear a rectangle of Vellum. The piece I used is approximately 7.5 x 11.5 cm. Emboss this piece using the 3D Coastal Weave Embossing Folder.
Take a piece of Seaside Spray and using the top of the Pineapple from the 'In The Tropics' die collection, cut out two of these pieces. Also cut out some leaves from this collection.
For the stamping, you will need the Stamparatus. Align a piece of Terracotta Tile and use the magnets to ensure that this stays in position.
Using the floral stamp from the 'Timeless Tropical' Stamp Collection, Stamp in Night of Navy then clean stamp and stamp directly over the top of the Night of Navy stamped image using Versamark. Clear emboss this image. (Note: I clear embossed over this as I am using Stampin' Blends).
Using Night of Navy Blends (both light and dark) and the colour lifter, apply colour to flower.
Cut out flowers using coordinating die from the 'In The Tropics' die collection.
Assemble card as shown in sample. Use Braided Burlap trim to accessorise.
Cut out 'Aloha' using 'In the Tropics' die and adhere to card.
