Maui Achievers Blog Hop February 2020 | Shimmery Detailed Laser Cut Paper

Welcome to our monthly Maui Trip Achievers Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that have achieved the Stampin' Up!® bonus of the Maui trip. We want to celebrate this achievement by organising a monthly hop which helps us to continue to inspire you creatively.

You may be starting here or have come from someone else's blog - either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed - so if you are looking for a demonstrator these are top demonstrators in their country and would love to look after you with your Stampin' Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin' Up!® teams.

Today I thought I would help us to remember that there are some AWESOME products in the Annual catalogue that you may have missed. One of the most gorgeous papers is the Shimmery Detailed Laser cut paper. It is so delicate and delicious.

I have heard that many are not sure how to stick the paper down as it is so detailed and delicate - it can be a little intimidating. My tip for you - use some of the multipurpose glue on a clear mount blog and add a little water from the aqua painter. Use your sponge dauber to dab some of the watered down glue and put that on your detailed paper. It works a treat and is nice and easy.

Here is the card that I made using this gorgeous paper -

I have used it with the Blackberry bliss cardstock. If you have my card templates the measurements for the layers are -

Blackberry Bliss Card Base - Gorgeous Grape card template
Whisper White Layer - Poppy Parade Card Template
Blackberry Bliss layer - Melon Mambo Layer

For the sentiment I used the new Thanks for the Laughs stamp set. It may have been one that you have missed on page 11 of the Mini Catalogue - but it is a GREAT set of sentiments. Lots of fun - but some wonderful ones that are super versatile like this one. I used my awesome new mini cutter to cut out this sentiment. That mini cutter is totally adorable AND useful! You can see more about that mini cutter and how to get it here.

Thank you so much for joining us on this blog hop today. We would love to see you each month and if you enjoy our projects feel free to pin them to pinterest and/or leave a comment for us.
