Alaska Achievers Blog Hop July 2018 - My Alaska Swap

Welcome to our Alaska Achievers Blog hop for July! Yet again we have a fantastic hop to share with you today - full of inspiring ideas using the current Stampin' Up!® product. I wrote this post before we left, but as you are reading it, we will be Cruising (today is an at-sea day). Can you believe it?? We are seeing the picture above FOR REAL. Loving it!

Today, we are going to be sharing some ideas with you featuring products from the Brand New Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue. If you live in Australia and would like one of the new Stampin' Up!® Catalogues you can order it HERE.

One of the exciting things about incentive trips are the swaps. When you register for the trip, you can choose to participate in a swap. Since there are so many achievers, demonstrators are broken up into groups and Stampin' Up! organizes everything. We hand in 26 versions of our card and we receive 25 beautiful cards in return (one is put on display and Stampin' Up! retains). I will have a post dedicated to the swaps I receive coming soon so watch this space.

Todays project that I am sharing with you is MY SWAP! Here is the project;

There are so many yummy products I used in this project today!

I started with a Bermuda Bay card base. I wanted to pair this with the beautiful returning colour Coastal Cabana. I added a layer of Whisper White with a 1mm border in-between.

I used the GORGEOUS Tufted 3D Dynamic Embossing Folder on the Coastal Cabana layer (I absolutely love this folder) and stuck this down with Tombow.

How beautiful are the stamped images? I used the Beautiful Promenade stamp set and stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay and the flowers in Smoky Slate on Whisper White.
Do you like the embossed shape under the sentiment? Wanna know what it is?

In the framelit set, there is a framelit which is designed to be a tag topper. I cut out 4 of these using Bermuda Bay and arranged underneath the white stamped image. This is the framelit that I used;

I love how this card turned out and I hope that those who receive the card as a swap love it too! I have included the products needed to make this card if you want to make it as well.

Note: Australian Residents Only

I decided to make some gifts for those on the cruise - ones that we have seen before and are looking forward to seeing again! I made the card to hold the earrings using the same style as my swap. Don't they look gorgeous together? I made the earrings as a little gift for demonstrators that we meet on our trip. Just a way to say well done and a big congrats for all their hard work earning an awesome trip.

Here is some of them - I couldn't fit them all in one picture! lol. Such a great way to make a gift even more special. With your own creative touch added to it.
