Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special Guest Allison Okamitsu

We are thrilled that we have another blog hop to share with you today as a team! The amazing Allison Okamitsu is our guest today. A top Canadian Demonstrator who has on numerous occasions been part of the Stampin' Up!® Artisan design team. Such a Superstar this woman!

Here is the card of Allison's that I am casing today -

Here is the card that I came up with -

You may be thinking - how did Kylie get that from Allison's card?? But I love the way Allison created the background just by stamping. This is exactly what I did to create my background. Then it is just a simple addition of the flower and sentiment.

I decided to step it up and even added some ribbon and washi. I took this element from Allisons strip of Gimmer cardstock that looks just like washi.

Here are the colours that I used in the card please pin for inspiration later.

I love that you can get inspiration from another persons card and truly make it completely your own. There might be elements that help you to get started - maybe the colour or the layout. When you start to discover how to Copy and Selectively edit - you will never run out of craft mojo every again! There is always inspiration.

I am loving this new stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue if you would like to purchase that you can see my supplies list below.

Big thank you to the Crazy Crafters and our wonderful guest Allison Okamitsu for joining us today. We are thrilled to have you as a guest. Remember that you are currently on Kylie Bertucci's blog - so check the list below to see who is next. Make sure you don't miss any blog posts as you are going to get lots of inspiration today.

  1. Lovely once again Kylie. Isn’t that stamp set so amazing? I am not naturally an orange lover, but I do like Peek-a-boo Peach, and even more so when it’s combined with the right colours. Thank you for the inspiration
