Global Design Project Challenge this week! We are playing along with a theme challenge this week - this week it is Sparkles and Bling. I was totally in the mood for BLING today. I'm not much of a sparkles girl - but I do love some bling and to me Gold emboss says look at me all the way.
Welcome to the
Here is the card that I made this week -
Wondering which stamp set it is?? This is a brand new one that I won at Onstage called Fabulous Flamingo and I know it is going to be a popular set. Adding the Gold embossing with the night of navy is so stunning!
The congratulations sentiment is from the same stamp set and I used the square stitched shapes to cut that out. I cut one side then came back and cut the other side. The stitched shapes framelits are available for purchase now. Don't forget the Retired List Sale - so many things are running out. ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card and made all the more lovely with the embossing highlights. I think you have really excelled here. Love the colour combination - the palm leaves remind me of holidays.
ReplyDeleteOmg Kylie! I love, love, love this card!
ReplyDeleteVery striking Kylie, the blue and gold are fabulous together.
ReplyDeleteId go to listen to the Jazz at the Blue Flamingo too.

ReplyDeleteLove your card Kylie, especially the colours & the gold embossing. Can't beat Navy & Gold
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for someone to use this set so I could see it. I didn't want the first flamingo we brought out because I just didn't like. But, I love this set and your card. Both are awesome! Where did you get your SU! bins? I'd like one if you tell me where I can find them. TFS!
