Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Special Guest Mikaela Titheridge

Thank you for joining the Crazy Crafters team blog hop! Our special guest is Mikaela Titheridge. She is a gorgeous person I was very fortunate to meet her on our Stampin' Up!® incentive trip on the Mediterranean Cruise and straight away had an amazing connection - lots of great chats about out business and shared ideas. It was fantastic!

As soon as I saw this project I knew that it was going to be a perfect project to inspire an Anniversary card that I wanted to make for friends of ours.

Here is my project -

Because this card was for my very good friends - even though I made cards all the time this really got me nervous, because I wanted to make it just right for my lovely friend Jess. She is so wonderful with her attention to detail and always gives so much to others. So I really started to second guess things that normally come natural for me. That being said - I am so happy with how it turned out.

I used the So detailed Thinlits Dies to make the Belly band that was my lightbulb moment from Mikaela's project. I knew that the card needed around 8 people to sign it so I was aware that it either needed to be a big card or I would have to find another way to do that. I thought of another way!!

I used the wonderful Falling for you Designer Series paper just as Mikaela did and also the Flourish thinlits like Mikaela's project. So I am SO GRATEFUL to Mikaela for all her wonderful creative inspiration. Thank you Mikaela - you are the BOMB girl!!

The Sentiment is from the Falling for you stamp set and I used the Project Life Cards and Labels to cut it out and layer it on the belly band.

This is with the belly band taken off - I love the flourish against the paper - I wanted to still have a point of interest even without the band on the card.

Here is the exciting part!!

Inside the card -

I added a 10.2cm x 27.9cm cm strip of the blushing bride to bottom of the card. It needed to be a folding technique so I scored it at 1cm that was where I stuck it on the card and then also at 14.9cm. I then added the layers of Very Vanilla that were stamped using the So in love bloom from that set.

Here are Jess and Michael. We had a wonderful lunch today with them and Jess had no idea so she was so surprised. We were so happy to be invited and celebrate this wonderful time for them.

How amazing that such a small card has so much room to write in!! I may have to show you how I did this on my live video on tuesday right? Who would like to see it? If so you had better comment below and request it.

Thank you for coming by my blog today and having a look at my card that was inspired by the wonderful Mikaela Titheridge. 11. Oh Kylie, I can not believe it was nearly a year ago that we met in the restaurant in Barcelona ... I will never forget peeping my head around the corner from the lifts to see you. A great connection and some fun times shared. I have been delighted to see your lovely team finding such inspiration from my blog and seeing what they have created from it. Your card is just stunning and beautiful that you managed to adapt it for so many signatures. A real keepsake card and a truly stunning one at that. Thank you so much for inviting me to hop with you all. I have thoroughly enjoyed it xx
