Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest - Shannon Lane

Welcome! Thanks for joining us today for our Crazy Crafters blog hop that we have every two weeks. We love having special guests join us from around the globe that have inspired us and helped us to create. We pick a card that we like from their blog and then CASE them - Copy and Selectively Edit. It is a great way to be able to get inspiration from someone and make it our own.

Shannon Lane, our guest today, is a super talented Demonstrator and has been on the Stampin' Up!® Artisan Design team a number of times. I love her style so much! Clean, layers and bold colours.

Here are the cards of Shannon's that I was inspired by today -

Here is my take on Shannon's cards -

I had so much fun using the amazing Urban Underground Suite found on page 47 of the occasions catalogue. The Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing folder is AMAZING! I love that folder. I have sponged the embossing with smoky slate and basic back around the edges to really highlight the different layers of embossing that this folder does. It really is something special. Before I embossed the background though I stamped it with the splatters from the gorgeous grunge stamp set found in the Annual Catalogue. I love that stamp set and the effect that it gives to cards.

I also used the Urban Underground Specialty Paper and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut out the circle layer under the sentiment.

The sentiment is from the Double Take Stamp Set and you can see that I have used Basic Black and in the background Smoky Slate. The little screw is from the Urban Underground Embellishments and I LOVE them! Oh they are just so clever.

I really feel that this would be a perfect masculine card - it is hard to say thanks to a man with the right style - this one is just right.

I always love dressing up the inside of my card but don't always show it - i am working on making sure I take a picture of the inside so that you can see how easy it is to finish off the card perfectly. Add a layer of Whisper White or Very Vanilla (depending what you have used at the front) and then stick it in - add some washi or in this case I have used my Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set to add some texture to the inside.

Thank you so much for joining us for our blog hop today! We love you supporting the Crazy Crafters team and make sure you hop all the way around.
