Global Design Project 061 | Colour Challenge

One of the things I love about going to Onstage is refreshing my memory of amazing craft techniques and remembering to use them. Well this Onstage I learnt a BRAND NEW one! I know right?? I have never seen this one done before.

Angela Meiritz-Reid from Stamping Beauty did a presentation at Onstage Live showing how you can use the markers on a bold image and just colour around the outside of an image. I LOVE the affect and it is going to be one of my favourites I know.

Here is the Global Design Project colour challenge for this week -

Remember that if you play along you could be chosen as a guest designer! This week we have the incredible Juana Ambida joining us - so make sure you head over and see what she has made.

Here is my card thanks to Angela's technique!

I used the Flourishing Phrases Stamp set for my card today and just the aqua painter pens for my Sweetsugar plum watercolour background.

Make sure you come back tomorrow to see my BIG NEWS!! We would love you to play along with us this week at the Global Design Project so come over and see us. Click Here.

  1. So kylie- do you stamp it in a light colour first, then highlight with darker colours, or stamp in light colour and stamp again with the stamp inked with the marker, for the highlights? Interesting- I love the technique!

  2. Oh my goodness, Kylie! I haven't played with this set in a while, but you're certainly making me hope to find time to try your marketing style with this image! Beautiful simplicity! Thanks for inspiring us!

  3. Fab, fab, fab! Can't wait to try this technique myself. I hadn't seen this before either and love how it turns a solid stamp into line art!

  4. The delicate flower really highlights the card! Superb!

Thanks for making the time to write a comment - you have made my day
