Welcome to an exciting week of colour at the Global Design Project 049 this week! Remember that you could be chosen as a guest designer if you play along with our colour challenges. The colours screamed floral to me - however you could use them many other ways too! I used the fantastic Flourishing Phrases bundle for my card today -
I wanted there to be a real pop of colour and wanted to mount it on Basic Black - however the colours got a little lost - so to create some dimension I added a layer of whisper white behind. I love the effect that it has given the card.
The sentiment is from the same bundle and I used the fantastic Gift Card Envelope and Trims thinlits. They are my favourite go to set for sentiments. WOW! The black in the background really makes those lovely flowers pop and the white softened it just enough. Brilliant!

ReplyDelete! It's so pretty. I love this bundle! I also love your colors. I don't know how to put pictures on the web, I don't have a blog! But, I do know hat I like! I like your card! I play along with the challenges here at home. I love playing with colors! Can you share the dimensions of your top panel only? I think the base 5 1/2 x 4 1/1 inches. Thank you for sharing!
