Global Design Project 036 | Case the Designer

It's time for GDP 036 and we are Casing Paula Dobson over at the Global Design Project this week. Paula is from New Zealand and is a very talented crafter. She is well known for her gorgeous sponging cards.

I decided to go very literal with my case of Paula's card this week. Getting organised to head off to Europe and I love that when you Case a card that you can take a little inspiration or in my case today I took LOTS of inspiration from Paula's card and just switched the stamp set.

Here is my card

I used Mint Macaron, Whisper White and Soft Suede - these are one of my absolute favourite colour combinations EVER! I love the way that the Thanks POPs out using the Hello You Thinlits. I stamped the card first then cut out the Thanks. Then I layered it with some Thick whisper white and soft suede to make it pop out and added the cut out inserts back in. I have always wanted to try this effect and I love how it worked out.

The stamp set that I used is the new Perfectly wrapped stamp set that co-ordinates with the new kit. In case you missed my video I made one using the kit you can check it out here.
Make sure you come and check out what our incredibly talented designers came up with this week over at GDP.

Thanks for coming by - only three more sleeps till we fly to Barcelona! So exciting!
