Global Design Project 010 | Wild about Flowers

This weeks Global Design Project Challenge is a sketch! I love the sketches that Teneale Williams comes up with from our design team - they are always inspiring to me. Here is this weeks -

Here is my card I created -

I created the square window frame by using the second smallest square framelit and cut it out from a 9.5cm x 9.5cm square and then used dimensionals to raise it up. I have used the gorgeous Wild about Flowers stamp set and used the same flowers I stamped once and then stamped again so that it created a lighter colour yet filled the scene of gorgeous flowers. I wanted to be inspired by the gorgeous Canola fields that we have seen recently in our travels.

Aren't they stunning?? I love being inspired by something that I have seen or have good memories from.

Here are the colours that I used - kept it very clean and simple. Can you see the vellum butterfly in the centre? I didn't want it to take over the card and thought this would be a great addition. The sentiment is taken from the and many more stamp set.

I would love to update you when I create a post! Would you like to receive an email from me when I do? You can subscribe for my updates here.

  6. Your card definitely resembles the golden field of flowers. Your vellum butterfly, while delicate, helps also to soften the bright yellow in the flowers. So lovely, Kylie.
