I LOVE Clean and Simple - but just because something has less, doesn't mean its easier to make. A clean and simple card is challenging to execute as you need to retrain. I am very happy with my restraint in this card today. The Addicted to CAS Design team have come up with a great theme - Chevron.
Here is my CAS card with Chevron -
I used the Stampin' Up! Chevron Border punch in all different colours from the Brights collection and then glued them to the base of the card.
I then added the two layers on top so that the chevron layer is highlighted by the two raised pieces of cardstock as if framing it. I love this look and have wanted to try it for a while. I then added the sentiment using the Greetings Thinlits.
Lots of bright, happy colours in this card!

ReplyDeleteIts a regular card Shella - have a look at the first photo closely and you might be able to see it - it just has a layer added at the front. Hope that helps?
