Cherry On Top Mojo Monday 402

This weeks Mojo Monday 402 sketch is circles which I normally don't do - it was a great challenge.

As soon I saw it I knew I wanted to do a shaker card. These are not colours I would ever put together but the new Cherry On Top paper stack took me down a path I haven't been on before - and I obediently followed...

I am loving the 100's and 1000's I just want to keep shaking that shaker card!

The Sweet sentiment is from the Bravo Polymer set - if you don't have it - you NEED it. I use those words so often. The Cherry on Top paper looks amazing with the 100's and 1000's and really is colourful - it matches really well with the new Sprinkles of Life stamp set as well.

Tips and Techniques:

I really enjoyed the fun I had making this card. I cut the circle shapes using the circle framelits collection. Where I wanted the shaker card to overlap I cut the two circles either side with the same sized circle so that they would fit under the border nice and neat.

I wanted the shaker section to be the hero so I have added the Bermuda Bay border around in the outside to highlight it. How well do the 100's and 1000's go with this card I think it may have been the colour inspiration for the Cherry on Top paper.

I decided the card needed some extra donuts and I really don't need them however - my lovely husband got these for us today. These donuts are AMAZING! Peanut Butter, Salted Caramel and double shot Nutella. If you live in Australia - look them up....
