Easy Summer Card Making with the Summer Happiness Bundle

This card came together so quickly thanks to the coordinating Summer Happiness Washi Tape and Dies. If you've never used wide washi tape before, this collection is a wonderful introduction because it does so much of the work for you.

How I Made This Summer Card

I started with a Strawberry Slush card base before adding a layer of Coastal Cabana using Stampin' Dimensionals®. The extra dimension helps each layer stand out while adding a little extra interest to the finished design.

Next, I applied the Summer Happiness Washi Tape to a piece of Basic White cardstock to create an instant colourful background. Because the washi tape is 3½ inches wide, it covers the cardstock beautifully in just one step, making it a quick way to add colour and pattern to your projects.

To create the focal point, I applied another small piece of the washi tape to a scrap of Basic White cardstock before using the coordinating Summer Happiness Dies to cut out the pineapple. I love that the dies coordinate with the washi tape, giving you beautifully cut images without any fussy cutting.

The sentiment, "So Happy Together", was stamped in Strawberry Slush ink onto Strawberry Slush cardstock before being die cut and added to the front of the card. Finally, I layered the pineapple over the sentiment to create a fun focal point that ties the whole design together.
