I had so much fun creating this FUN FOLD card! I started with a Basic Black tri-fold card base and layered it with Lovely Garden DSP for a bold, patterned foundation. On the front, I added a gradient panel using Stampin’ Blends in Basic Black and Smoky Slate, which gave a soft, blended background for the focal point.

For the main floral element, I stamped a rose using the two-step stamps in Melon Mambo and Garden Green, then cut it out with the coordinating die and adhered it to the gradient panel. The sentiment, “You Get Me & I Appreciate That,” was stamped on another piece of Basic White and added to the front for a personal touch.


The inside is where the FUN FOLD really shines! I used a piece of Woven Textures DSP and the Pop-Up Petals die to create a pop-up that’s surprisingly easy but looks amazing. I stamped and coloured more flowers using the two-step technique, cut them out, and arranged them inside the pop-up. To finish, I added coordinating layers on the back with DSP, Basic Black, and Basic White to tie everything together.



This card shows that with a few clever layers and the right tools, you can create a dramatic, interactive card that’s as fun to make as it is to give!
