Today’s YouTube Live was such a fun one! I shared a project inspired by one of our team members — a tri-fold card (of some sorts) featuring the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper. I love how this design turned out and can’t wait for you to try it too. 

The base is Secret Sea cardstock layered with sheets of Peaceful Garden DSP. One piece even ended up adhered upside down… but I think it actually works better that way. Over the top, I added another Secret Sea panel and embossed Basic White cardstock with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. The de-bossed side looked incredible once I added colour using sponge daubers in Lost Lagoon, Crumb Cake, and Misty Moonlight. 

For a little twist, I swiped Secret Sea ink directly across the surface — a technique I cheekily named the 3D Embossing “Comb-Over” Ink Technique. It creates such a unique look, and it was fun to share the tips and tricks (and yes, what not to do) during the live. 

I finished the card with a sentiment from the Thankful Garden stamp set and added a panel of Peaceful Garden Specialty Glimmer Paper on the back for a bit of sparkle.
