I am so excited to share this project with you! I first created it live with our YouTube Members last week 🎥💬 and now it’s time to bring it here for everyone to enjoy. This card was such a joy to design, and I love how the layering brought it all together. 

The foundation starts with a Basic Black card base. On top of that, I added a layer of Pecan Pie 🍂, then a layer of Basic White, and then the striking black-and-white striped DSP from the Weekend Adventures collection 🧭. To add even more depth and contrast, I tucked in another layer of Pecan Pie. 

The sentiment is bold and beautiful—Adventure Starts Here. I prepped the DSP with an embossing buddy, stamped the sentiment in Versamark, added White embossing powder, and heat set it with my heat tool 🔥. To make it stand out even more, I softly blended Pecan Pie ink over the top with a blending brush 🎨. The embossed words resisted the ink, leaving the sentiment crisp and eye-catching. 

I always love decorating the inside of my cards too 💌, and this project was no exception. A little extra attention on the inside makes the whole card feel finished and special for the person receiving it. 

The layering, the contrast of black, white, and Pecan Pie, and that big statement sentiment make this card stand out. It’s bold, adventurous, and perfect for celebrating a new journey, a milestone, or simply encouraging someone special.
