Creating a Serene Pocket Card with Peaceful Garden DSP 🌿

I’m so excited to share my first project using the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper — a pocket card that’s all about soft, calming beauty. This DSP has completely stolen my crafting heart.

What I love most is that the card base is made from just one sheet of this gorgeous paper, cut and scored into a clever pocket card layout. I know lots of you are going to ask how it’s made, so watch this space in the next few days for details.

The pattern I chose is truly stunning. It reminded me of the imagery in the Thankful Garden Bundle. I stamped it using Secret Sea ink and coloured it with Stampin’ Blends in Cloud Cover, Secret Sea, and Misty Moonlight, then cut it out with the coordinating die. It gave the design a soft, layered depth that really makes the images pop.

For the front pocket inserts, I used the Foiled Frames and Labels, adding one layer to a piece of Secret Sea cardstock for contrast. Inside, the writing panel features two dies from the Branching Out collection, one in Secret Sea and one in Basic White, creating a simple but elegant frame for your message. The sentiments are all from the Thankful Garden stamp set, tying everything together beautifully.

What really makes this card shine is the Peaceful Garden DSP itself. The soft doves, gentle greenery, and tone-on-tone washes create a serene backdrop that turns a simple pocket card into something truly special. Whether you’re making cards for friends, family, or just because, this paper is perfect for creating projects that feel calm, thoughtful, and timeless.

Stay tuned — I’ll be sharing details soon so you can recreate this pocket card yourself.
