Fun with Sunnies – Featuring the Notes & Totes Bundle

This week I am excited to share a series of projects featuring the new Notes & Totes Bundle from Stampin' Up! If you love bold sentiments, playful details, and beachy accents, you will want to add this one to your collection.

About the Bundle

The Notes & Totes Bundle includes a 12-piece photopolymer stamp set and a 17-piece die set. The stamps feature magazine-style headlines, casual script sentiments, and fun images like sand, flowers, water droplets, and more. The coordinating dies make it quick and easy to cut out the shapes, and yes, the bundle is compatible with the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine too. Best of all, bundles save you 10 percent compared to purchasing the items separately.

Project 1 – Fun with Sunnies

For my first project with this bundle, I could not resist starting with the heart-shaped sunglasses die. Here is how this card came together:

I started with a Basic Black card base layered with Basic White and then a piece of patterned paper from the Thoughtful Journey DSP.
For the main feature panel, I layered Basic White, Blackberry Bliss, and another piece of Basic White for contrast.
Using the sunglasses die from the bundle, I cut out five pairs of sunglasses, mixing the Thoughtful Journey DSP with Basic Black for the frames.
To make the lenses pop, I brushed on Wink of Stella shimmer. I love the shine it gave.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment "Newsflash! You're Fabulous!" in white on Blackberry Bliss cardstock, then trimmed and adhered it to the card front.

The result is a fun and fabulous card that is perfect for reminding someone how amazing they are.
