Today I’m kicking off a brand new week of crafting inspiration using the Floral Impressions Suite!
For this card, I followed one of my go-to layouts from Card Sketch 1. It’s a simple design that really lets the beautiful products shine.
For this card, I followed one of my go-to layouts from Card Sketch 1. It’s a simple design that really lets the beautiful products shine.
I started with a Garden Green card base and added a layer of that absolutely stunning floral paper from the Floral Impressions DSP Collection. The colours and detail in this paper are just gorgeous!
Next, I die-cut an oval from Darling Duckling cardstock and stamped it with matching ink using some of the floral images. I love how this tone-on-tone technique adds texture without being too busy.

The sentiment was heat embossed in white on Garden Green cardstock using VersaMark — I love that crisp white detail!
To finish it off, I stamped some of the coordinating two-step flowers in Darling Duckling, die cut them, and adhered them to the card for that final touch.

This was such a fun project to create, and I love how it turned out. Using a card sketch really helped things come together quickly!
If you’d like to give this sketch a try, I’d love to see your take on it! It’s always inspiring to see how different each card can look from the same starting point!
