Your Friendship is the Best Gift | Dive into another Second Seaside Wishes Project

Hello, Crafty Friends! I’m thrilled to share another stunning project using the Seaside Wishes Bundle from Stampin' Up! by Bruno.

This card beautifully captures the serene and vibrant essence of the ocean, making it perfect for sending warm and heartfelt messages. Here’s a closer look at how this delightful card came together.

To begin, we chose a Basic Beige card base, providing a timeless and elegant foundation. The next step was to cut a full card-front size layer of Boho Blue. We added a touch of creativity by stamping bubbles in Boho Blue and pebbles in Old Olive on this layer. To bring out the texture and depth, we ran this card front through the 3D Embossing Folder, and then adhered it to the card base.

For the accent pieces, we used Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green cardstock, cutting out intricate designs that add a splash of vibrant color and complement the oceanic theme beautifully. These pieces are perfect for enhancing the overall look of the card.

The focal point of the card is the trio of sand dollars. We started with a piece of Basic Beige and used the 3D Embossing Folder and dies in conjunction to cut out the sand dollars. To add more depth and dimension, we applied Basic Beige ink using a blending brush, giving the sand dollars a realistic and textured appearance. These sand dollars, along with the accent pieces, were carefully assembled and adhered to the card front, creating a harmonious and visually appealing design.

To complete the card, we crafted the sentiment. We stamped it on Calypso Coral using Versamark ink and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. The sentiment was cut out with the Nested Essentials Die and adhered to the card, with the excess trimmed for a perfect fit.

The combination of Boho Blue, Calypso Coral, Granny Apple Green, and Basic Beige creates a delightful and captivating card that truly brings the ocean to life.
