As we countdown to the release of the 2024/25 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue on May 1st, I'm excited to showcase a project that features the beautiful Thoughtful Journey Suite.
Starting with a Solid Base
For this card, I chose Fresh Freesia as the card base, a subtle yet inviting color. To add dimension, I layered it with two more pieces of Fresh Freesia cardstock.
Introducing Texture and Shine
The next layer features a piece from the Thoughtful Designs Specialty DSP. This isn’t just any paper; its pearlized finish catches the light, adding a sophisticated touch to the card.
Highlighting the Main Attraction
The standout element of this card is the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper. With its watercolored floral and field scenes, this paper makes a stunning visual impact, serving as the focal point of the card.
A Simple Sentiment
To complement the design, I chose a sentiment from the Thoughtful Wishes Stamp Set. This selection, known for its simple and friendly phrases, was stamped on Basic White and trimmed to fit the card, providing a neat and tidy finish.
