Creating Serenity with the 'Time Together' Bundle: A Frangipani-Inspired Delight

Hey there, fellow crafters! 🌸✂️ Today, I'm excited to share a project that took me on a tranquil journey through the beauty of frangipani flowers using the 'Time Together' Bundle from Stampin' Up! While this bundle comes with charming hourglass stamps, I decided to dive into the world of frangipani stamps and coordinating dies to create a simple yet stunning masterpiece.

I've always been captivated by the elegance of frangipani flowers. Their delicate petals and soothing fragrance evoke a sense of serenity and calm. With the 'Time Together' Bundle, I found the perfect way to capture this essence on paper.

Materials Needed
  • 'Time Together' Stamp Set
  • Coordinating 'Time Together' Dies
  • Cardstock in your preferred colours (I used Pebbled Path)
  • Stampin' Blends (I used Lemon Lolly, Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green)
  • Tuxedo Black ink
  • Les Shoppes DSP
  • Adhesive
  • Embellishments (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions:
  1. Stamp the Frangipani Flowers: Select the frangipani stamp from the 'Time Together' Bundle. Ink it up with versa mark and carefully stamp it onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Heat emboss with Black Embossing Powder. Repeat this process twice.
  2. Stamp the Small Flower: Select the flower stamp from the same bundle. Ink it up with versa mark and carefully stamp it onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Heat emboss with Black Embossing Powder. Repeat this process twice.
  3. Colour the Flowers: Using Stampin' blends, colour the flowers. On my sample, I used Lemon Lolly, Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green. I was very light with the Lemon Lolly allowing the Very Vanilla cardstock to be the main frangipani colour.
  4. Die-Cut the Flowers: Use the coordinating 'Time Together' dies to cut out the stamped frangipani flowers. The dies ensure a clean and precise cut, giving your flowers a professional look.
  5. Cut the Card Base: Fold a piece of Pebbled Path cardstock in half to create the card base. This can be any color that complements your stamped flowers. This simple step provides a backdrop for your frangipani masterpiece.
  6. Cut a piece of DSP: Cut a piece of DSP allowing a border of cardstock to be visible around the outside of the DSP.
  7. Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment. You can either stamp in Tuxedo Black or stamp using Versamark and heat emboss with Black embossing powder.
  8. Arrange and Adhere: Arrange the die-cut frangipani flowers on the front of the card in a visually appealing arrangement. Play around with different placements until you're satisfied with the design. Arrange the sentiment so that it complements the frangipanis.  Once you've found the perfect arrangement, adhere using your preferred adhesive.
  9. Add Details (Optional): If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, consider adding some embellishments like sequins or gems to enhance the overall look of your card. These little touches can take your project to the next level.

And there you have it – a serene and visually captivating frangipani-inspired greeting card using the 'Time Together' Bundle from Stampin' Up! This project showcases how versatile this bundle can be, allowing you to explore different creative avenues beyond its main theme. So go ahead, dive into your crafting space, and let the frangipani beauty unfold on paper.
