It has been almost two months since we first saw the 2023 January-April Mini Catalogue and one of the suites that was available early to us as demonstrators was the Fancy Flora Suite. This is simply stunning and I will never tire of it. So, I made another project using it - here it is.

While it looks very complicated, it really was quite simple. 

I started with a beautiful piece of the Fancy Flora DSP. This generated a colour palette for the card. The colours used are Calypso Coral and Soft Succulent. 

I adhered the DSP to the card base (which is Soft Succulent).

I then applied some Adhesive Sheet to the rear of a piece of Kraft and ran it through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine using the detailed die from the Two-Tone Flora die collection. I then peeled back the adhesive backing and adhered to the card. Seriously, Adhesive Sheets are THE BEST!!!

The stamp set (also named Two-Tone Flora) gets its name as all of the flowers are two-step stamping. So, , I stamped the base layer of the flowers in Calypso Coral on Basic White, allowed it to fully dry and then stamped the top layer using Versamark and heat set with gold embossing powder. I then cut out with the coordinating die.

For the leaves, I simply stamped in Soft Succulent on Basic White and cut out using the coordinating die. 

I arranged the flowers and leaves and adhered to the card with dimensionals. 

Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the Something Fancy stamp set and then cut out using a Hexagon from the Beautiful Shapes die collection and adhered to the card.

Finally, I added some iridescent pastel gems!

This is a very busy looking card - but I LOVE how it turned out. What do you think?
