Covered in Sunshine | May the Road Ahead of You Be Brighter than the One Behind

Do you sometimes have things on your desk from a number of different suites and you are immediately inspired? Thats what happened with this project. Here is the end result;

This piece of Fancy Flora DSP was at the top of a pile on my desk. I loved the colour combination on this piece and so I used that for my project. This is the sheet I used!

Isn't it gorgeous? The colours used are Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral, Orchid Oasis, Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam and Soft Succulent.

The sentiment I used is from the Covered in Sunshine stamp set. There are a number of large format sentiments (which I love!!!). Here is a picture of the stamp set.

So, I used the sentiment on the bottom left in each of the colours used on the sheet of DSP. I used the Stamparatus and coloured each line of the sentiment with Stampin' Write Markers.

I added a layer of Crumb Cake and a layer of Orchid Oasis. I love the way these layers bring out the colours.

I love the look that using markers on stamp sets has. It gives it a rustic look!

I had a strip of paper left over and it wasn't big enough to cover the top leaf of the envelope. So, instead, I adhered it to the side underneath the flap.

I really like how this project turned out. Id love to hear what you think.
