Its Bruno here and I have some projects to share with you featuring the Cactus Cuties Bundle paired with the Abstract Beauty Specialty DSP collection. Before I share the projects with you, I want to share the products with you.
The Cactus Cuties Bundle is all things I love! As we know, I am obsessed with all things plants at the moment. I love the striking solid stamped images and I love a coordinating punch as well!
Here are the three projects I created;
Lets look at them closer. The colour palettes I used was taken from the colour palette used on the Abstract Beauty Specialty DSP.
The designs include swooshes, splotches, brushstrokes, and patterns for a wide variety of crafting projects. There are small and large sized patterns so you can mix and match for different looks and combinations. And get this - Paper is sized perfectly to be used for card fronts (its 4 x 6). There are a whopping 48 sheets (4 each of 12 double-sided designs). You are going to LOVE this paper!!!
If you would like to know how I made it, here are some notes;
- I used Balmy Blue, Night of Navy and Magenta Madness card bases.
- For the 'table' element, I cut a piece of Cinnamon Cider card stock and dry embossed using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.
- For the left Cactus ('V' Shaped), I started with a Granny Apple Green image and then added some Just Jade around the edge using a sponge dauber prior to stamping. The pot is using Gold Embossing powder.
- For the right cactus, the plant is stamped using Just Jade and the pot is stamped using Cinnamon Cider. All of these elements are cut out using the coordinating punch.
- The sentiment is stamped and embossed using Black Embossing powder. I then cut out using one of the frames on the Messages Die (LOVE that!!)
