We have some more projects to share with you from our special online event we had for World Cardmaking Day. Our event focused around the AMAZING Special 'Box of Sunshine' Paper Pumpkin kit. What I wanted to focus on is some projects I made using the 'leftover' pieces! After making the cards in the kit, there was ALOT of pieces left over - and I didn't want to waste a single piece. Additionally, the stamp set is pretty amazing and SUPER versatile!

I made ALOT of other projects using this kit - here are just some of them......

Simple DSP Project

For this project, I used the 'sun' stamp from the collection and used White-Emboss powder. I then stamped 'Hello' onto a piece of Whisper White and using a circle die, I cut the sentiment out. Simple and effective! The DSP is from the 'Artistry Blooms' collection.

Stepped-Up DSP Project

Using a Note Card (LOVE these), I cut the DSP the same size as one of the pieces of the Forever Gold pieces and adhered these both to the Note Card. The sentiment piece was left over from the Box of Sunshine kit and the sentiment fits PERFECTLY! This card was complete in less than 3 minutes.

Using 'Negative' Pieces

In addition to the leftover die pieces, there are nice pieces left over (which the die pieces used to be connected to). I wanted to try to use these. The orange scalloped shape used to have a sun inside and the green pieces used to have leaves inside them. I cut these pieces out and mounted onto some Whisper White card stock and then onto a piece of Mango Melody. Before adhering to the card base, I added a piece from the Forever Gold collection. The sentiment is from the Box of Sunshine.

Using a Card and Envelope Set

I had a left-over pineapple - so I adhered it to a piece of Very Vanilla. I was going to adhere it directly to the card base, but I added a piece of Gold Foil in between. For the sentiment, the word Sunshine is inked with both Mango Melody and Just Jade. I cut this piece out using the Tailored Tag punch.
