Hi There and thanks so much for stopping by today. Its Bruno here im participating in the monthly design team blog hop for TGCDT - The Gentleman Crafters Design Team (all of the members are from around the world and are ..... MALE!) And, on todays hop we have some new members to the Design Team! WELCOME!
Im sharing a swap I made for our team today. When I first saw the catalogue, something that IMMEDIATELY caught my eye was the Boho Indigo product suite. So, thats what I used for this project. Here it is
The stamp set, dies, DSP and ribbons ALL come from the bundle! Here is a closer look of what comes with the Bundle;
Wow! How amazing is that! If you want to buy it, click on the image above.
Back to the project..... I started with a Night of Navy card base. I selected a beautiful patterned sheet of paper and cut it in half (one sheet was enough for two cards). I also trimmed a little strip from the top and it was perfectly sized for the card! I mounted it on a piece of Very Vanilla with a trim on the left and right and adhered this piece to the card base.
I stamped the three jars in Night of Navy, Sahara Sand and Versamark (I used Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder on this) onto Very Vanilla and then cut these out using the coordinating die. Using some Vellum, I cut out the leaves using a die from the collection. I adhered these to the card base in a group using dimensionals.
For the sentiment, I stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla using Night of Navy and then cut this out using the Classic Label Punch. I mounted this onto some cut pieces of the Frayed Grosgrain Navy Ribbon and the Vanilla and Gold Ribbon using dimensionals.
For the inside of the card, I mounted a piece of Very Vanilla (to write on). I also took another piece of DSP and cut it into strips and adhered this along the side. I also stamped a few of the small floral images using Night of Navy.
What is a swap? When we get a new catalogue, as a team, we opt-in and make 10 of the same card. These are sent in to us and we then send 10 different cards back (each person gets a different set of 10). We would love to have you join our team and join the next team swap. Click here to do that now.
