Hi There! I have a flashy card here for you today!
I started with a black card base, a piece of Gold Foil, a piece of Black Foil (I thought this was retired, but turns out it isn't) and a piece of HOT DSP from the Botanical Prints medley.
To the DSP, I gold embossed the floral image from the Ornate Style stamp set. I then embellished with some Gilded Gems. Next, using a die for the Ornate Borders collection, I cut some Black Foil. For half of the piece, I cut and the other half, I embossed (can you see this).
Finally, for the sentiment, I used Black Embossing Powder on Gold Foil.
Of course, this turned out nothing like the image I had in my mind when I started, but i like how it turned out. What do you think?
