I have an easy new project to share with you today. Im using the Rooted in Nature stamp set, available in the 2018/2019 Annual Catalogue (available for you to order on June 1, 2018). Here it is;

This is such a beautiful stamp set and its part of a beautiful suite called Natures Poem. I used just ONE COLOUR on this card - Crumb Cake (well, two if you include Very Vanilla).

I started with a Crumb Cake card base. I stamped the images using Crumb Cake ink directly onto Crumb Cake. I love the effect that this gives. I used the sponge daubers around the edge of the card stock. I mounted this onto a piece of Very Vanilla and then onto the card base.


Next, I stamped the images onto a smaller piece of Very Vanilla. Some of the images, I stamped directly and some of the other images, I 'stamped-off' to give a lighter effect. I then mounted this onto a piece of Crumb Cake and then mounted this onto a piece of Very Vanilla. Then, using dimensionals, I mounted onto the card base.






Do you like the sentiment? I really like how it turned out. I clear embossed onto a piece of Very Vanilla. Then over the top of this, I stamped the tree trunk and the embossed image (sentiment) resisted - i LOVE emboss resist. I then trimmed this piece down and mounted onto a piece of Very Vanilla.
