International Highlights Winners Top Ten Blog Hop

Today I am hopping along with the winners of my highlights from August. Our theme is the same as the International Highlights last month which was Teachers Gifts. You may be starting here or have come from the person before me in the hop - that is fine! You can still hop all the way around and not miss one. The list is at the end of this post.

Have you had opportunity to use the You Move Me bundle? When we first received the catalogue at On-Stage, I was confused as to how it will work with the images and the strange slotted framelit. But, then we saw it demonstrated and I was simply blown away. Here is my project;

I cut out the slotted framelit and lined up where I wanted the butterfly to site. I used Emerald Envy and Berry Burst. These two colours go very nicely together. I stamped the two slotted butterfly images onto a piece of Very Vanilla and created a 'pocket' using foam adhesive strips and a base piece.  I then decorated the front piece using stamps and framelits from the bundle. I cut a small slot in the top and used a piece of Emerald Envy wrinkled ribbon as a grip.

I stamped the sentiment on a separate piece using both of the colours and then mounted on a piece of Emerald Envy. I then mounted this using dimensionals and then mounted it all on an Emerald Envy card base.

The next international highlights is going to be the theme of Sympathy and will be held on my blog next week. If you would like to take part join our Facebook Planning group so you can get all the details of how to play along - Click Here.
